Vintage and Handcrafted Home Decor

Hello from Hardwick, MA

Home of the oldest agricultural fair in the country, rolling hills, and family farms.

Hi, I’m Betzi from Bluejay Grove. In 2018 I retired early due to chronic illness while my husband Tom and I were living in a pretty cramped condo in bustling Cambridge, MA. By 2022, we started looking for a larger place and put offers on many and lost them all. After crunching the numbers, we saw that we could get a second home for the price it would take to move to a larger abode in the city. With luck on our side, we found a lovely home in the farming community of Hardwick. Now, we have the best of both worlds.

After I started to get better treatment for my immune disease, I dreamt of opening an online shop to sell the antique, vintage, and handcrafted treasures I had been finding throughout New England. Bluejay Grove is an attempt to achieve that dream. I am also able to revamp about 3-4 furniture pieces a year.

I found that I could reach the largest audience by selling on the online live auction platform called Whatnot. Since September, 2024, I’ve been holding live shows auctioning off my vintage finds. Please check out my channel at https://www.whatnot.com/user/bluejaygrove to find my shows and see the inventory for that week. Also, if you use my referral link, you will get $15 off your first purchase, and I will receive a $5 credit. It’s a win/win!
