Saving great furniture pieces from the landfill
Betzi at Bluejay Grove has a passion for saving high quality furniture pieces by restoring and revamping them. You can see recently completed pieces below.
Items that can be of use to the young adults transitioning out of foster care in the “My First Place” program are donated. Other pieces are either sold with the proceeds given to the program, or donated to another organization such as the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.
Do you have a piece of furniture that could use a new look? We are also available for custom orders. Contact us at info@bluejaygrove.com to share your project and check availability.
Vintage Nightstands
Donated to My First Place on October 8, 2024!
These nightstands were created from a vintage desk that we separated. The tops and drawer fronts are stained solid ash. The frame is solid wood while the side panels are veneer-covered plywood. Frame and sides are painted a neutral “greige” color. The drawers provide needed storage while maintaining an overall narrow profile fitting in many smaller bedrooms.
